When I first started getting into Willie’s music about 20 years ago, I remember one of my favorite songs was something about marching to his own drum or beat- something like that. Now I’m on Apple Music and I just remembered the song this morning. I can’t find it on Apple though and I don’t have my CDs anymore, just a few vinyls. I don’t remember the album, but I’m pretty sure it was from 70s or 80s. Does anyone know what song iI’m talking about?

Wish Billy & The Boys got longer than an hour, but they’re getting longer than both Wilco & Sheryl Crow. Really wish they had less acts, with longer sets! Guess it’s good the acts I want to see will be later, so I don’t need to get heat stroke out at COTA without any shade!

Does anyone know a streaming platform for the album Me and the Drummer and/or Night and Day? I’ve listened to all of Willie’s solo, soundtrack and collaborative albums. I can’t find these two.

So Willie Nelson has had an herbal drink out for a while now. I see ads for it occasionally and know its actual name is something like Willie’s herbal infusion. All of the people I know however have seemingly immaculately adopted the ubiquitous term ‘Willie Liquor’ for it. We talk about wanting to try it occasionally (haven’t gotten around to it yet) and all call it this. I have met several people who are unrelated who have called it this. Is it a nationwide thing calling it Willie Liquor and how does Mr. Nelson feel about his product being called this?

Anyone have any idea if they will add more dates to the Outlaw Fest this year. Only runs through August and missing a lot of the usual cities. I was hoping they’d add more dates and come to Philly again. Ticket sales for other dates don’t make me hopeful

I’ve been playing classical for about 2 years now and am starting to try to work on improvising and combining what I’ve learned from classical and bring it to pop music. Any feedback would be appreciated, as I do have classical background but am trying to apply my knowledge of theory and classical music to more broad applications.
