Trying to style jerseys without looking sloppy

For context this is not for playing in the actual field, this is for day-to-day use like casually. I've always felt like baseball jerseys are always either a hit or miss in a way. Me and some of my classmates have been trying to style them more casually lately and I noticed a few things experimenting

-Oversized can work, but only if the shoes and socks balance it properly like raising your socks a little for example, and black shoes fits with any almost all the time

-Trying to slim the jerseys to fit you somehow looks worse -Matching colours with shoes/caps matters way more than you think, most of the time black shoes for example fits well with almost any combo

-if too oversized, the top of the jersey is best worn on top of a hoodie The most important thing I realised though is that the actual jersey itself makes a huge difference. Some just fit cleaner and their material sits better.

Any more tips may help

For the custom ones we got we had previews of our designs which helped a lot in choices and made them cleaner than if we didn't Though i got some issues covered up i just needed some advice so that i don't end up messing up again in the future and waste money in the process. What do yall recommend to try out or pair baseball jerseys with casually?
