I moved to Woodstock a couple years ago and always wished we had a transit (Go train) system to Toronto and back. I have family on that side and driving down the 401 can be painful sometimes.
Does anyone else feel the same and are any of the upcoming Mayors in favor of such an idea?
🚨 CONVICTED: WOODSTOCK DAYCARE OPERATOR SENTENCED TO 7 YEARS 🚨
Trevor Hendershott, the operator of Trevor’s Childcare in Woodstock, pleaded guilty on March 16, 2026, to one count of sexual interference involving two children under 16.
The amended count covered sexual touching between February 17, 2022, and March 2, 2023.
On Friday, October 2, 2026, he was sentenced to seven years in prison, with 27 days credited for time already served.
The court also imposed a 20-year sex offender registration order, a weapons prohibition, a DNA order, a non-communication order, and restrictions on contact with children and work involving them. The remaining charges were withdrawn at the Crown’s request.
