Hey folks, apologies if this isn't the right sub the for question. I just thrifted this wool sweater (90 percent wool, 10 percent cashmere).

I have quite a number of wool items and I'm familiar with the care. When I thrift one, I typically will give it a hand wash in the bathtub with some Woolite and tepid water, I'll squeeze as much water out as possible, roll the garment up in a towel and press it, then lay it flat to air-dry.

Have never really had issues before today. The knit has really loosened after the wash and I wonder if there's anything to do to tighten it up again.

I’m not sure this is the right spot for this but I think y’all would know best. I got this at an estate sale, it was in a bag labeled 1980’s custom. I want to see if it is A.) easy to clean the stains, I think they may be old dog pee. B.) Worth anything and C.) more about the makers mark.
