I may have accidentally been texting a child instead of my boyfriend?

So I have an iPhone and my boyfriend got an android with a new number over a month ago and sometimes my messages would send as blue. He said he didn’t know why but his email and phone number were on his daughter’s iPad so I assumed that was why. So fast forward about a month and I get these texts. I’m horrified because I sent sensitive pictures the literal night before I got these texts and have sensitive messages from before too. So what are your thoughts on her waiting so long to tell me and what can we do to alleviate the situation? (The blacked out area showed my control panel)(pls help me I am mortified)

Strange Phone Calls Last Night

Me 44F and my husband 47M have been together for 18 years. Last night around midnight I received two very strange phone calls. My husband and I were asleep together in bed. I answered my phone, which was on Do Not Disturb; which was strange already that it was pushed through. When I answered the call it was a woman who asked for my husband by his first and last name. I said I was his wife and asked who she was. She said her name and then apologized and said she didn’t know he was married and hung up. I got a second call about 10 minutes later. Sounded like the same woman. They asked for my husband again and said they were looking for him again. This time they said they talked to him on Grindr and gave a physical description of my husband. They asked if they could come over and if I had a parking space available. I said sure come on over. Of course no one ever showed up. I would have chocked it up to just prank calling but they had my husband’s full name and gave me a description, then hung up again.

My husband does travel a lot for work; gone Monday-Thursday/Friday home on weekends. He travels all over one week it could be Arizona the next week Vermont. Rarely does he go to the same place back to back or even within the last few months. If he’s not traveling he’s home with us. No going out to bars or disappearing without explanation while he’s home.

They had their number blocked so I can’t call back or even do a web search for them. Any advice??

Is TruthFinder legit? Looking for honest reviews

I was trying to look up some basic public information recently and noticed that TruthFinder seems to come up almost everywhere whenever people search for background check or people search websites.

I've never used a service like this before so I started reading reviews to see if it was worth trying. The more I read, the more confused I got. Some people say it helped them verify information and find old addresses or contact details while others say the reports weren't very accurate or didn't include anything they couldn't have found elsewhere.

Something else I'm not clear about is whether TruthFinder is actually free. The site lets you start a search but it looks like most of the report is only available after paying. I couldn't tell if there are any useful free results or if everything worthwhile requires a subscription.

I'm not looking for anything beyond basic public information. I just want to know whether the service is reliable enough to justify paying for it or if it's one of those sites that promises more than it delivers.

For those of you who have actually used it, is TruthFinder legit? Was the information in your report reasonably accurate? Also is TruthFinder free in any practical sense or should I expect to pay if I want to see anything useful?

I'd really appreciate hearing some honest TruthFinder reviews from people with firsthand experience before I decide whether to sign up.

Random kid keeps calling me on Friday nights

For the past two weeks, a private number has been calling my cell on friday nights. on the other end, there is a pre-adolescent child named Dylan Rhodes or something like that calling from somewhere in New York (he had told me a specific town but i forgot), according to him. The voice sounds nothing like an ai voice, it seems like a real kid but i doubt that this is innocent or that there isnt someone behind this with malicious intentions. The call is made with the alibi of "i want to make new friends/i have no friends." I don't trust this for obvious reasons. i was an idiot at first when i answered the first call from this alleged kid because i gave him the name i typically go by, not a last name. the strange/frightening thing is that he called me tonight and greeted me by saying "hi [insert my name]!" he remembered my name. is this some sort of scam? i will cease answering private number calls, there is no way for me to *69 or check caller id as far as i know. any thoughts on what this is?

i will attempt to record the next call if possible, if you guys want me to actually answer it

Why do people ask to call someone?

Whenever I need to call someone I just call them but some people text me first to ask to call? Is this a new generation thing? Why do people need to ask to call someone?

This random old guy has been leaving me increasingly unhinged voicemails for weeks and I have no idea who he thinks I am.

I have no clue who this person is, but he's been leaving me these incredibly long voicemails.

The conversations are one-sided masterpieces covering everything from the KKK to classic movies, random gatherings, and topics that immediately make you glad voicemail isn't a live conversation.

He sounds completely convinced I'm the person he meant to call.

At this point I'm emotionally invested in the storyline.

Here are a few of the voicemails.

What does this mean??? I need help! am i being pranked?

Hello this is my first ever reddit post so forgive me if it’s not good. I’ll try my best to explain.

context: About a month ago this girl messaged me asking if i was dating this random guy. I do not know this girl but she lives in the same state as me so I assumed maybe we went to high school together and i don’t know the guy she’s referring to. I say that i don’t know him and she proceeds to tell me all this freaky ahh stuff and idk what to make of it bc my account is private. I’ll just insert the messages here. I just don’t know what to make of this. Am I being pranked?? I hope these texts make sense and that it’s enough info im so confused please help! 😭🙏

UPDATE: Thanks you everyone for your advice. I can be gullible when it comes to things like this. I made a mistake by continuing my conversation with this person and what’s done is done. There is no need to be rude in the comment 😊
Anyway I did block them and everyone associated so hopefully this will be the end of that! Thanks again for everyone who gave their perspective and helped me see things differently!
