Manu Gonzalez

We all no Manu Gonzalez will not get a MotoGP seat even if he wins the moto2 championship. My question is where will he end up.He will definitely go to wsbk.Ducati will probably not choose him over an experienced MotoGP rider such Miller and morbidelli. The only Ducati satellite team I see him joining is either the barni Spark seat to replace Bautista or go eleven Ducati if they expand to two bikes.I would have said Marc Vds but they've signed Sam Lowes and canet already. Barni,go eleven and Marc Vds are the only competitive satellite teams in Ducati.

Now if he wants a factory team then the only option is bimota because I think they'll part ways with axel bassani.

As for Yamaha they've signed Andrea locatelli through to 2027 .vierge signed a 1 year deal but I think he'll be retained

All other bikes apart from the Ducati ones are trash

Honda sbk bikes are the most trash bikes of them all.

Kawasaki will probably promote Jeremy Alcoba alongside garet Gerloff.

The most probable outcome is barni Spark seat

So for the future of WSBK, we go full BoP or we accept the extition of japanese manufacturers?

This weekend at most was proper "Ducati Cup". No matter how much you limit the power of Ducatis, the japanese manufactuers are still nowhere in a track where there aren't big straights.

There isn't much more FIM/Dorna can do when the bike's performance delta is so big.

The championship has only 2 ways to go:

1st - Go full BoP like WSSP, where the performance of the road bike is irrelevant. FIM will manipulate the power and weight to make (or try) everybody have the same potential speed. Good oportunity to bring other manufactuers like Aprilia, Suzuki, CFmoto, or MV Agusta since the sport will become much cheaper.

A shame there won't be as much incentive to improve road bikes.

2nd - Keep going like it is and accept that Japanese manufacturers eventually will disapear from the grid.

Japanese are not the same companies we knew 20 and 30 years ago. Japanese now are being run by bean counter, if it doesn't sell millions, they kill it. Honda sells 20million bikes a year. Yamaha sells 5 million a year. Ducati sells 65k, BMW sells only 200k.

They make no new superbikes anymore because they don't bring big bucks. But they also don't compete in anything else High end. They still have the highest budget for marketing and R&D BY FAR, but they chose not to invest in racing or anything high end market.

BMW 1300GS, Multistrada V4, Tiger 1200, 1390 Adv. have no competition from japan.

Hypernakeds like SFV4, Tuono V4 Factory, 1390 SuperDuke, M1000R, Brutale 1000, etc, have no competition from japan.

And now is the end of superbikes.

So whats the best solution. Go full BoP that will allow the sueprbike dinossaurs to be competitive against M1000RRs and V4Rs, and allure new manufacturers? or we keep the darwin rules and let Ducati (and maybe BMW) dominate, at the risk of killing the series?

As much as it pains me WSBK go away from it's origins of developing road bikes to race, I think BoP is the best option.

Whats your opinon?

2026 WSBK | Bulega vs Lecuona (5/12 rounds)

With Bulega's perfect streak so far I wondered how far behind his closest threat (Lecuona) is and how that is looking over the course of the whole season. Still plenty of rounds left for some tension if Lecuona is able to start closing the gap.

Cleared view of Masia and Arenas incident

Zoomed in footage of the Masia and Arenas incident, very clear that Masias foot was caught on the brake lever guard, you can see his foot jump forward when it comes free.

Everyone is very quick to jump to the conclusion that Masia kicked his bike when you can see his foot stays on his peg the entire time.

I got my comment removed by the official WSBK account

So in a recent Masia post I commented just ''Masia hate is so forced, he's a really good person, last summer I met him and he even explained me how WSSP works from the inside and gave me some free merch'' because everyone was calling him some undescribable things and of all comments hating and with really bad insults towards Masia, the one removed by WSBK admins is mine, I'm really pissed about this, are they really censoring good comments just to manipulate engagement with their posts?

Maybe this isn't the subreddit for this post, but I'm really baffled about this, and I really think more people should know this, I can't give any screenshot with the comment because it got completely deleted, I only got a message from instagram saying that the admin removed my comment, no reason, just removed, being too kind or something?

Please if this isn't the correct subreddit, admins, could you redirect me to the one it is?

Red Bull Rookies Cup

Current standing

Benat Fernandez -74

Fernando Bujosa-64

Kiandra Ramadipha-50

Ryoto Ogiwara-43

David Gonzalez -38

Mateo Marulanda-34

Kristian Daniel Jr -34

Travis Borg-31

Sullivan Mounsey-30

Who's your pick to win the whole thing?

My pick is benat Fernandez with bujosa a close second

Carlos cano has showed that he has the one lap pace but his race pace has been absolutely appalling. He gets swallowed up during races. He is currently 21st in the standings with 3 points

Ikkker

This season has been let’s say dull in terms of winners. We knew Bulega would be an overwhelming force with the entire package but iker has shown that bulega has completion, bring on the era of a new rival.
