My xbox elite series 2 controller hasn't been working. About three days ago in the middle of one of my games it just turned off, and of course I assumed it died- but after plugging it in, it would continuously turn off so I thought it was a battery issue. But recently I realized that it's like- dying?? Like its turning off and when I go to connect it, it just starts slowly blinking and won't stop until it turns itself off(which isn't the pairing button because its slower than that and slower than the looking for something to pair with blinkin)

So basically it's

- turning off randomly

- disconnecting from Xbox randomly until it just stopped connecting to anything

- blinking slower than both the unpaired and pairing blinking

- not charging well

Can anyone help me? Or should I just buy a new controller?

Hey everyone! I just launched paddleshift_, a Mac app I built for remapping the paddles on an Xbox Elite Series 2.

You plug it in over USB, choose what each paddle does, and save it to the controller. Then you can close the app, unplug it, and play over Bluetooth with your mappings still there.
