Hello everyone

I started using Yazio and it gave me a calorie limit each day. It also gave me the goal to do 10'000 steps each day. But if I were to do that, I would already burn more calories a day, which has me wondering, if the app calculates your daily limit with those 10'000 steps in mind - or if I should just consider this extra.

Anyone else experience massive battery drain and heating up while using Yazio?

i have an Iphone 17, since last week I have been experiencing the mentioned above problems. I am certain Yazio causes it as everytime I use the app, nothing else is open on the phone.

I barely use my phone anyway, background app refreshing feature is turned off, most of the permissions are denied.

I purchased this phone in end of April. Before Yazio, despite the Iphone being notorious of weak battery capacity, I could go on two days without charging. Then on 1st of June I installed the app. There was no overheating in the beginning, no massive battery drain, but it was noticeable my phone could not go two days without charging.

However, recently while I log everything I eat, I loose around 5% of battery and my phone heats up.

it's updated to the latest version. yesterday it was just super laggy but now it won't open at all. i've reinstalled it, shut off my phone and still nothing.

I would like to export all my logs to an csv or whatever format. Is there a way to do so?

I got 2 weeks break from Yazio due to its annoying ai functions and bullshit animations. I got back and You know what welcomed me?

TWENTY QUESTIONS LONG SURVEY. And adding a meal was like another 5 questions... Plus nonsense animations and not being able to disable ai sloppiness

I no longer see sense in using this app.

So the recent updates and the current ongoing lag has finally convinced me to break my ~800 day streak and abandon this steaming pile of garbage. It was one of the best, it has become the worst. Unskippable nonsense, lost functionality, terrible performance. Do you have any recommendations for alternatives?

For devs:
- Inability to use my own keyboard is a completely unnecessary inconvenience. I have no idea why you've been maintaining this restriction for years.
- The input lag staining value customization has been lingering for a year now. When I'm trying to edit any value, if I do it within a 2 second window, it resets to the original value.
- There's no way to favorite my recipes.
- I DO NOT CARE about my daily streak animation. I would like to disable it.
- I DO NOT CARE about AI insights, I would like to disable them.
- You keep reorganizing the interface buttons, hiding convenient functionality behind more and more taps. It's terrible UI design.
- Did I mention the lag? Currently it renders the app unusable.
- etc etc

It would be SO easy to turn this into a user friendly app, yet every single update keeps ruining the experience. I've had enough.
