Both of these movies seem to tackle many of the lingering feelings of loneliness and isolation that followed many people's daily lives post-pandemic. It is truly wild how the Blip became such a perfect metaphor for something we would all actually experience together in the real world.

It's actually kind of crazy how both movies start with a spider-themed Marvel hero dramatically jumping off a skyscraper. Neither of them seem to be in the best mood and both seem to be adrenaline junkies.

We have the passing of the torch for Stark Tower > Avengers Tower > the Watchtower (and in the F4 Universe, the Baxter Building) that has happened throughout the MCU.

We have both Sentry and Spider-Man wrestling with this concept of their own identity and an alter ego - or in Bob's case, two.

And Yelena, Bob, and Peter all realize that they can't carry everything alone and have to let people in and find a support system. However, Peter discovers he's waited too long to reach back out and found that things aren't what they used to be. But, many some of them still are still there, and maybe some can be rekindled.
