MY BABY (Yorkie) IS BLIND!
one week ago, me and Toki’s life changed as we knew it. a perfect little 5lb beautiful Yorkshire Terrier, feisty, and a 3rd shift supervisor! she is now totally withdrawn, quiet, confused and I’m a wreck! I’ve had her since birth, and she’s been my best friend for the last 8yrs. Today she hardly eats or drinks. The Vet said she’s not in any pain, but I find that hard to believe. helppppp!!! any advice.

Any recommendations for a good Yorkie breeder in Colorado?
My husband and I are starting to look for a Yorkie puppy, and I was wondering if anyone here has personally had a good experience with a breeder in northern Colorado.
We’re hoping to find someone responsible who health tests their dogs and really cares about where their puppies go. We’re not looking for a “teacup” Yorkie or anything like that, just a happy, healthy puppy from a good breeder.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Help. What’s going on with my dog’s eye?
It doesn’t seem to be bothering him but he repeatedly gets this film in one eye. Always in the middle like that. He’s not rubbing it or squinting and the eye otherwise looks normal. I always thought it was just eye goop but saw another post that made me think it could be concerning. Thoughts?

Cambio de tono en pelaje de yorkshire
Les comparto el cambio de tono en el pelo de mi yorkshire, él es toby tiebe 3 años y precisamente en estos maravillosos 3 años que lo tengo
Ha sido ungusto honor y sobre todo lo mejor de mi vida en 4 patas, También les quiero pedir su apoyo o ayuda, mi yorkshire ha presentado un mal aliento en su boca al inicio pensé tenia que desparasitarlo más seguido y con algo más específico ( cada mes le doy de simpática trío) aun si, cada 3 meses de 2-3 dosis de endrogar d(recomendado por su veterinario). Pero me comenta el veterinario que debo realizar una limpieza dental, lo cual me preocupa mucho ya que requiere anestesia total de mi perro y me da mucho miedo el riesgo que implica una anestesia total y más esto del sarro que puede desencadenar problemas graves.
comentó independiente de esto, en mi ciudad es muy difícil encontrar alguien que realice un corte adecuado,así que espero no me critiquen por sus cortes extraños.
¿Producto que me recomienden para sarro dental ?

Yorkie with teeth pain
Hi, I have an 11 year old yorkie who is my baby. Recently she stopped wanting to eat and started drooling and seemingly in pain. Took her to vet who gave her stomach meds which didn't really do much and after a few more days of not eating (I had to force baby food in her mouth and then nutri cal to prevent low blood sugar) I took her to ER vet. They ran expensive tests and pretty much also came to the conclusion that it was oral pain. However her kidney levels were a little high and her x ray showed a slightly enlarged liver which might be causing an infection and nausea even though liver numbers were normal. They gave me some antibiotics as well as gabapentin for her pain which will hopefully allow her to start eating again. She has a heart murmur and along with elevated kidney levels, she can't have a dental cleaning until she gets a cardiac work up which they can't do for another month. Anyone else deal with oral pain for dog with just gabapentin and antibiotics? Any other suggestions to get her to eat?
