Visiting Yuma

Hi everyone!
We’ll be staying in Yuma for two weeks with my 4-year-old, and I was wondering what you guys do with your little ones there. I know it’s way too hot to be outside, but are there any fun indoor places or activities you recommend for toddlers? I’d love to hear your suggestions. Thank you!

Looking to Meet New Friends

22F I'm looking to meet women around my age because I moved here recently with my spouse. I like plants, gaming, art, visiting parks, and I'm down to play tennis or try pickleball. I'm a bit lost on where to meet people here, so I hope other people in my situation will see this. Send me a message!

Moving to Yuma.

Hi so I am wanting to move to Yuma to be closer to my boyfriend. We met in college and have been doing long distance for a while now. But everytime I visit Yuma I enjoy it so much. Everyone always says I’m crazy for that but coming from Illinois where we have winter 8 months out of the year i appreciate it. Other than that im finishing up my degree later than expected within criminal justice. I’m looking for a job here. It’s been hard. I applied for border patrol and some government jobs and still waiting for a response back. I have been in the restaurant industry for over 9 years. So I am ready for a change but I always find myself back in the restaurant and having an office job within the legal world. I just need recommendations or connections. Literally anything. When I move here I’ll be living on my own so I just want to find a good paying job that will be enough for me and my dog lol.

Apparent proposed data center

Been searching for a job for a while and saw a post about a new data center. Idk who needs to see/hear this, but if they build a data center here, it will not only drain our already expensive and limited resources, it will also cause the already brutal fckn heat to rise. Do your research. It was like 80 degrees this last winter. No mosquito/tick/flea die out bc it was so hot. Ridiculous.

Also, apparently, there are multitudes of better and correct ways to develop these facilities that won’t destroy the environment, but it’s just “too expensive” for these billion dollar corporations. When are the city council meetings cause we might need to show up with a guillotine like they did in Oregon and remind these opportunistic f*cks we don’t play about ours down here.

Also** 🧊 is in phx now so keep ya head on a swivel. It’s only a matter of time before they’re out here officially. Not trying to fear monger. It’s just the reality we live in now. (I specifically created an acct to job hunt and it has not been helpful at all, ngl, just thought I should do sumn productive with it even if I can’t make a living 💁🏽‍♀️✨)

Grace Dental Studio in Los Algodones?

Hello! I'm considering traveling from the Midwest to have a bridge replaced at Grace Dental in Los Algodones. I searched Reddit as well as reviews and everything I've read seems fairly positive about this clinic.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences there? Positive or negative?

Thanks so much for any info!

Any cdl holders in Yuma who can answer some questions. Thanks.

I need my CDL soon, really can’t afford to pay $5000 at Yuma trucking school right now. I work at some random truck spot and don’t make enough at the moment. I went to Arizona at work a couple years back to see if they can help, no luck. There was a waiting list, so I just gave up and left to Alaska for work. But now I’m back. Some drivers here said to go to Ypic. Anyone got their cdl through them?? Planning on going Friday to see if I’m approved or what the deal is. Any help is appreciated.
