Yesterday, the publisher announced my first serious book: "From Balkans to Babylon: Zastava AKs of Yugoslavia, Serbia, and Iraq". Growing up, I read books about war in Yugoslavia, collected military uniforms, but there wasn't much to read about weapons in Yugoslavia.
Many years passed, but still, there were no books in English on that topic. So I decided to write one, learned the language, spent three years conducting research, and published a book in which I discuss Yugoslav weapons history as well as my personal experience repairing those weapons in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia.
It's almost impossible to get modern parts because nobody ships anything from the US to Europe. You almost have to rely entirely on milsurp. It's ironic, considering they come from Europe but are virtually unavailable here.
After searching for a while, I was able to find yugo m76 with a original barrel in great condition and all the receiver section, so a re-weld can be done on the receiver. A guy just imported a batch of 10 or so these I think he still has some left.
Dumb question I know but I can’t really find a definitive answer. I want an optic on my m72 and thought about just getting a TPO psop to larp since a real PSO is like 500 bucks and it wouldn’t be any cheaper to get a mount and real optic. I know the Yugo side rails are different than your standard ak and I’m not apposed to getting a different butt stock if optic height is the problem. Just want to get clarification before I drop the money, also if anyone is looking to offload a PSO or Yugo mount im your guy. Thanks again
Hello everyone! I had a client request me to make them a direct mounting option for their Aimpoint ACRO for their Zastava m85 pistol as a drop in replacement to the factory optic rail. I made a whole batch of them, as it made more sense to run multiple than just one. The parts finally arrived, so I thought I would share with you all. As far as I am aware, this is the first direct mount option available for this combination.
These are half the weight of the original factory picatinny rail, and sit low enough for your ACRO footprint mount to partially cowitness with the iron sights.

Few months back a friend of mine sent me a pic of a brand new AK pistol and said "come get it, I'll never shoot it, it's yours." He has had it in his safe for atleast ~10years.
I picked it up, got it home, cleaned and oiled it. Then took it to the range and ran about 200 rounds of 556 with zero issues. I'm thinking of adding a folder to it and if possible, a Pic rail and red dot.
This is my first AK. Can you all tell me more about it? Description on Zastava's sight says it has polymer furniture. The only thing, that I see, that is polymer is the grip. What am I missing? Any quirks I should look out for or anything that need to pay attention to?
I just recently bought my zpap92 and shot 200 rds. When I was trying to disassemble the gas-tube (first pic from google lol) the pin thats holding it was tight. I had to use brass punch and hammer just to push it out. Is this normal?
Note: I made sure the cover is all the way open when punching it out.

Saw this for sale yesterday and because of a time conflict I couldn't buy it. Thought on it hard all night and went back today to buy it. It's a m92pv with what appears to be a 4.5 folder setup. The barrel is pin and welded with an attachment but it'll soon be an SBR. Rivets are tight and gun appears to barely be fired. Not sure how true the story is but LGS says the guy that traded it in stated it's a Red Jacket build. I didn't buy it because of that I bought it for the folder setup and SBR potential.
I bought a lower handguard and a stock for my M70 on December 22nd it's been almost 5 months with no updates or anything. I've tried emailing them and messaging them on their Instagram with my order number and nothing. I ordered from their website and spent $374. Do I just take the L and accept that I've been scammed? I'm not really sure what to do.
Any other mags work for the M90? I heard & read AC Unity mags worked & read customer reviews on the site before buying which some people had success using these mags but these are getting stuck in my rifle. Should I just wait for Zastava metal mags to be back in stock?
