Wilshire is shit. I’ve been having issues for the past three months or so. Horrible headaches, no motivation, extreme fatigue…what most of us are dealing with. So I had my dr write in my script as name brand Zenzedi only DAW 1.
I used to get name brand up until a year ago when the small pharmacy I went to could no longer order it. At most I paid 150$ for the month. I switched to Walgreens and got Wilshire for the last year.
Walgreens got my order and called me to let me know that for a 14 day supply (50mg a day) the total would be $750. And that’s with a coupon. Lmfao
I have no choice at this point and plan to pick it up. I haven’t been able to do anything for the past few months. I sleep all day. So I have to figure something out because that’s just insanity. I have allergies to a lot of fillers and binders that are put inside generic meds. I’m allergic to everything.
I know that people say there isn’t a difference and if this was a year ago I’d 100% agree that there isn’t a difference between Wilshire and Azurity/Arbor but something changed over the last few months and I’m slowly going insane.
Big pharma doesn’t even take you out to dinner before they f**k you.
Ps I’m sorry a lot of us are going through this.
Has anyone switched from Dexedrine spansules to azstarys. I was on 50mg Dexedrine spansules daily. I told my psych I wanted to try azstarys as I knew I was about to hit the max 60mg for Dexedrine. He prescribed me the 39mg middle dose of azstarys. On it I have felt sleepy and less focused but also more focused in other ways I don’t know how to explain it but I also dont feel like it last about 8hrs not 10-12hrs. I’ve been on vyvanse, metadate CD, aderall XR and IR and zenzedi. How have people felt on focalin XR, concerta? Or would the best be to just increase the azstarys?
Picked up my very first scrip since being prescribed Zenzedi 20mg 2x daily. Was ecstatic to read Wilshire markets the authorized generic, totally looked forward to finally being fully functional again after so many years of med hopping
then I read this sub, and now I'm looking forward to being really upset, Wilshire has become shit apparently. But is that true across all dosages, or are some just as good as before and others became sugar pills,? The thought of not having to fight to find something worth taking for a while was pretty amazing, but it looks like I'm probably not done struggling
Bontril is a brand for generic drug called Phendimetrazine, and this is a prodrug to Phenmetrazine, which works as a dual NDRA & DNRI; interestingly, seems like an overlooked med that has a unique profile of its own, which could benefit knowing this is available if it’s a long while of course & still not had a talk about Desoxyn, or been put on it yet.
Bontril seems to be something referenced in the manner of well balanced profile to help off-label potentially for ADHD, and it is for weight loss.
It was preferred by those who took phenmetrazine more compared to misuse of active drug in Desoxyn’s in reference of a survey apparently decades ago in Sweden, which tells me this seems like a tolerable side effect profile seeing the degree of NDRI/NDRA is 1/5th of D-Amp (similar relevance of activity but degree lessened seems like there’s more to understand for people to prefer that side by side).
Hi guys, so instead of filling at Walgreens and getting the authorized generic, Wilshire, which sucks in comparison to Winder Labs,
I asked my doctor to write “fill with Winder Labs only” and to send it to CVS, as they’ve historically always ordered specific generics for me without issue. They only had Teva in stock. They ordered Winder Labs and it came in the following day.
The ones from Winder Labs blow Wilshire out of the water. I can actually feel it kick in now. I took my first 10 mg 3 hours ago, and only got 4 hrs of sleep, but this is how 40 mg would have me kinda feeling but I’d be totally miserable with 4 Hrs of sleep.
My mood is better, I don’t have to take all four 10 mg tablets I’m prescribed. They last so much longer for me than Wilshire ever did and it feels like a different med, in a good way.
So if you’re struggling with finding the right pharmacy or generic or even difficulty obtaining brand name, consider doing what I did. I do not regret it! (I sound like an infomercial 😅 where’s my money for the Winder testimonial)
Good luck, everyone! 👍🫶
