Hydra — two extra playback heads on one delay ring, a 2× (octave-up / double-time) and a 0.5× (octave-down / half-time) layer, re-triggered every window.

Spiral — delay whose repeats climb or sink — the pitch shift sits inside the feedback loop so it compounds.
