I'm looking for a module that I can mount in the canopy of the ceiling fan, where I can control the fan speed and light (preferably with a dimmer but that's not so important). The fan only has one power connection, and is one of those where you have to pull a wire to toggle light and fan speeds - that's what I want replaced with a z-wave module.

So far I'm coming up with a ton of wall switches but I won't have those wires. Any suggestions?

So I'm currently running homeassistant as a container in docker desktop (Windows 11 Pro) using the following command:

docker run -d --name="homeassistant" -e "America/New_York" -v C:/Users/ibeg2dfer/Documents/homeassistant:/config -p 8123:8123 --restart=unless-stopped homeassistant/home-assistant:latest

I have a factory reset Aeotec Z-Stick Gen 5 that shows up in Device Manager as UZB (COM3).

I follow the steps from usbipd-win to share and attach my USB Z-Stick to WSL. Running usbipd list I see the device is attached:

However when I open a wsl/docker-desktop terminal and list all devices, I am not seeing it listed as either /dev/ttyACM0 or /dev/ttyUSB0. I just get the following:

My understanding is that it needs to show up as /dev/ttyACM0 or /dev/ttyUSB0.in WSL in order for me to share with with Z-Wave JS UI --> homeassistant (both containers in docker desktop). Has anyone with a similar setup gotten this to work? If so, what might I be missing?
