I've had Kawasaki's my entire life ever since I was 18 years old. That was 31 years ago when I first started writing kawasakis. The last ninja I bought was a 2011 and I still have it and I love it because it's still the physical cable throttle which gives me full control over the bike on acceleration. I have never used electronic throttle control before and I'm just curious what people's opinions are about the new technology. I've also never used abs and I'm used to not having it. I'd like to hear from people who have ridden both electronic throttle and cable throttle and tell me what the differences are and which you prefer. I want to pull the trigger on a 2026 cx10r but I'd like to get some opinions first.

I dont even have the stock esd I put on a ohlins manual one which is way better btw but everytime i do wheelies the esd warning light will go off and sometimes the ktrc will start flashing too. I pretty much always turn ktrc off. Bike runs normal but its annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

Anybody else’s gen 6 get wobbly bars through the entirety of every gear after 2nd? No matter where I hold, where I sit, the bars just wobble the entire time. Not full blown slap, but definitely enough to be a little concerning.

Writing this post because occasionally when shifting from 1-2 using the clutch the bike seems to engage into second the fall into neutral or not engage at all. Then when trying to go back into gear while moving it is very rough and clunky when going back to first or second even with bringing rpms up or at idle. I don’t know if this is because of the neutral finder or what. The 1-2 with quick shifter can do the same at times but i think its mainly because not moving the shifter far enough upwards. Any one else experienced this. I thought about taking it to dealer but if they don’t experience it i’m not sure how they would diagnose it. It rarely happens but i feel like it’s happened once the past two days. Any knowledge or experience with this would be great!

The S1K lacks character. It sounds like any of the 600s but without the charm of the extra revs. The fireblade sounds better and more unique but not as intimidating as you’d want.

The ZX10R on the other hand has this angry and raw sound. Only way I can describe it is it still screams but there is much more bass and resonance to it. I have an arrow exhaust on mine and it sounds like Godzilla approaching to destroy your city.

Hey all. Just bought a brand new 2026 Zx10r. I’m sitting at about 585 miles about to complete my break in service. What I’ve noticed so far is the suspension is very tight on this bike. I previously had a 2025 zx6 and I could hit a bump on the highway like butter. If I hit a bump on this bike it literally throws my butt off the seat. Is there any reason for this? For reference I’m 5’7 145 pounds.

2019 zx10r. Bike loves 3rd gear. Basically anything between 50-70 it comes right up. I want to learn standups and see most guys online doing them in 4th. Mine really doesn't want to come up in 4th. Do I gotta just be a man and yank that thing up harder or?
