Noise after letting go of accelerating. 2025 zx4rr

Hey guys,
I ride a 2025 zx4rr and have 13.000km on the clock and for the last 1500km i have heard this sound like above 3rd gear after letting go of the accelerator.
I also had it in for service 500km ago and went by the shop and showed them this and they told me everything was fine.
The bike feels normal like it always does but just this whining/ whistle sound has never noticed me.
Does anyone know what it is? Or is something wrong?

Zx4rr Ebay triton Full system exhaust

I’ve seen a lot of questions about this exhaust and lack of reviews and that convinced me to buy this exhaust and try it out a little bit right now i’m waiting on the ECU to get back from TST but i will say the exhaust went together beautifully only one little modification for a bracket other than that looks great

Titanium Exhaust Unreliable?

I’m looking to buy a used ZX4RR, and the one I’m eyeing has a full titanium exhaust from Graves. I’ve read and heard that titanium is a poor exhaust material due to something about how the material handles repeated thermal expansion. Is this something I should be concerned about? More specifically…

  1. Is it likely that I’ll need to replace the full exhaust in the bike’s lifetime (compared to stainless/stock)?

  2. Should it fail on the road, would it be dangerous in any way?

  3. Should it fail in general, do I risk damaging other vital and/or expensive parts of the bike?

I plan to commute with it, take joy rides as one does, and also do a few track days in the future. Any advice is appreciated!

ZX-4RR 350-1000km RPM

The ZX-4RR owner’s manual says to ride at moderate speeds after 350 km until the break-in service. What is meant by ‘moderate’ here — should I keep it at a maximum of 8,000 rpm?

Tail Tidy license plate light

I got a 2025 ZX-4RR second hand, and it came with a tail tidy from Amazon "MANTT"

I'm trying to put the license plate light, but it ends in two loose cables as shown on picture 1, and I need to connect to connector on picture 3, on the second picture is the original license plate light.

I'm new to Motorcycles, and, new to posting on Reddit, Maybe somebody knows what kind of adapter cable I need or what to do, any help is appreciated, thanks!

First bike love it anything I should know?

Love it so far 2025 3,800miles for 7k off market place. (Honestly a steal) Anything specific I should know or things to look out for. Additional maintenance? Exhaust recommendations? done some research of course.

Finally joined the club

After 19 years on Harleys I decided I needed an inline four. Just picked it up last weekend and man is this thing fun! I love how you can wring it's neck and not immediately go to jail. 😂 And it sounds so good!

What maintenance/checks should I do immediately after buying a used ZX-4RR (7.5k mi)

Considering picking up a used 2024 ZX-4RR with 7.5k miles for almost half of what a new one costs OTD around here. Clean title/VIN, stock, warranty still active, and NHTSA shows 0 unrepaired recalls, but I’d be the 4th owner and there’s limited maintenance history before 5k miles.

I’m planning to immediately take it to a local shop for baseline maintenance/inspection after purchase.

What would you guys recommend checking/replacing right away on these bikes around this mileage?

  • oil/filter
  • brake fluid
  • chain service
  • coolant?
  • spark plugs?
  • anything ZX-4RR specific?

Main concern is seeing engine failure posts online which still makes me hesitant.

My New Ride 🔥

Picked up my brand-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R SE here in Japan, and I couldn’t be happier.
That high-revving inline-four sound is pure perfection.

Best Looking Exhaust for 40th Anniversary

Been wanting to change out the the stock exhaust on the ZX4 for a minute now and am looking for opinions on what the best looking slip on is for the 40th anniversary color way is.

I’m not worried about power gain or anything really, just mainly want a little more sound. Also don’t want to be the loudest bike in the neighborhood either though. I feel like the Graves is one of the best looking ones to match the 40th but iv heard it’s one of the loudest and there is no DB killer option for it.

What other slip ons out there do you think look best of the 40th?

Are there any tunes that still allow for 87 octane?

Gas being what it is right now with no signs of it going down has me hesitant to tune it if I can only put in 93. I know it’s a supersport track bike that happens to be allowed for street but I mainly use it as a commuter so the few dollar difference between 87 and 93 can really stack up.
