Shoutout to the dude ripping a frt at the range yesterday

This post is not about the legality of FRTs in Florida.

Just want to commend the fine gentleman running a FRT at a well known indoor range yesterday lmao. Even more so in an unsuppressed AR pistol.

Also gotta give a shoutout to the workers not giving a fuck. I asked one of them if they care if customers shoot with FRTs, they said “I just work here I wont stop anyone. But its at your own risk”

Im ready to risk it at this point lol

CDS9 Shiv Mounting

I was going to take my new toy to the range today but wanted to check if this is normal.

The Shiv threads on cleanly but after torquing it down pretty good I can feel the smallest bit of movement if I try unscrewing it before it will actually come loose. You can hear the movement in the video.

Also the last thread inside the can seems a bit tore up.

Should I throw a shim on or maybe some teflon? Ive seen some people need threaded spacers depending on the barrel shoulder.

CDS9 w Shiv

First suppressed pistol.

Any advice on mounting the Shiv? Going to be taking it on and off so I dont want to rocksett it. But im also super paranoid of it coming loose. I plan on drawing some witnesses marks

I see Cloak sells The Triggered Company FRT specifically for the MFR56, but I already have a RB FRT-15L3.

Does anyone know if it would run with my RB FRT?
