A few questions about gun ownership after a withheld adjudication

Lived in Texas a caught a felony charge and a misdemeanor for having a gun(i had my ccw) and a delta 8 vape pen which I purchased from a vape shop(which is what the felony was for) and ended up with probation after getting a 2nd lawyer after the 1st didn't do squat. It was my first offense.

That soured me on Texas so I moved to Florida after transferring my probation here. I received 3 years of probation after I plead guilty(which is the only way I was going to receive probation) and I have a withheld adjudication.

I'm of the understanding that I'm still under Texas probation but Florida supervises me.

My question is after my probation is up will I be able to buy a gun? Will I be able to get another concealed carry license? Lastly hypothetically let's say I sold all my guns except 2 but a family member is holding on to them will I be able to take possession of them again?

Moving with SBR/can

I’m moving in with the gf. I have a SBR and it has a suppressor on it. It’s in about 25 min away but it is a different county. Tampa to Clearwater. What do I need to do to stay legal?

Suppressor Approval Time

Edit: just approved after writing this lol - approval time was 4 days, two cans.

What’s everyone seeing for turnaround times for approvals? Buddy and I went in at the same time to buy a couple cans each and his approval came back quick (about 3 days, his first cans ever).

Thoughts?

First CWFL Renewal

Greetings! My original permit is about to expire in February and I’m wondering when is the soonest I can begin the renewal process. Also, what is required? I assume a new picture will be called for, and a new application, but is there anything else?

I originally went to my regional licensing office in Northport to apply for my CWFL almost seven years ago and I am willing to do that again, if necessary. But if there’s an easier way then I’m all about that. I’d just like to know the easiest way to renew my permit and how early I can begin that process. I don’t want it to lapse. I know that a permit is no longer required to carry but I want to keep one for reasons that I’m sure you all understand.

Thanks, all y’all!

Another FRT Arrest (maybe?)

(1) Instagram

Unclear from the message but one person got a machine gun charge, another got a bump stock charge. The press release also only mentions 'illegally modified to alter its rate of fire', unsure if thats the machine gun (probably a switch) or the bump stock charge (which is probably an frt). Any more info out there?

Affordable and Quick Barrel Threading FT Myers Area

I’m a young guy who just moved out on his own. I’m starting life with girl in my favorite part of Florida, Fort Myers, and need some help with finding affordable Gunsmith and NFA services.

My gun budget is very limited, but I can afford to Form 1 a ”solvent trap” for my 10/22. With the free stamps it’s like $20 bucks (Cheap Chinese “Solvent Traps” work perfect on .22s)

I just want something I can shoot for fun while fishing/camping in the woods and not worry about FWC getting mad at me

My previous experience is limited to ordering rifles to FFL’s and buying pistols from Academy (Only store cheap than online)

I know many gun stores around the area are just stupid fudds tryna rip you off so any help/advice is appreciated

Also curious where I should go to use a Silcencershop Kiosk for my Form 1

Finally if the ATF is reading, I‘M MANUFACTURING THIS SILENCER AFTER I FILE THE FORM 1.

Dont shoot my dog pls he is a cute daschund mutt rescue

Finding an FFL Office - The Nightmare Continues

Does anyone have any experience with renting a retail-zoned space with a Type 7 FFL? Only limiting yourself to "industrial" zoned spaces is a non-starter. And it appears the industrial zoning thing isn't an ATF requirement anyways. It's ridiculous to be restricted to warehouses if you're just going to assemble ARs from a parts kit.

Backstory: In trying to get an FFL 07, AI initially told me that I must get an "industrial zoned" office space, which led to weeks of agony. 40% of realtors say no immediately when mentioning "firearms/ammo manufacturing" and the remaining 60% won't allow any special clauses in the lease (permitted use/contingency clause), or the space isn't up to code (meaning I couldn't get local government permit if they do an inspection), or they just gradually stop communicating (probably more firearms-discrimination). I'm literally out of spaces to look at.

ANY advice is welcomed (including tips on how to approach realtors/landlords and language in leases). Bought a book called "The Ultimate FFL Resource Guide" and it had 0 information on finding an office.

Beginner friendly ranges ?

Hello, I am a completely new to shooting and am looking for recommendations on a shooting range that is beginner friendly in the south Florida area, preferably Palm beach county. The one near me doesn’t allow beginners and requires you to do a one on one $500 course first (Too expensive). I also have my own firearm and ammunition, thanks.

Range Recommendations in Miami

I’m moving to Miami and looking for a range that isn’t ran by fudds and has a membership system instead of having to pay for each range visit. It seems like most threads on this subject are tourists wanting to rent something. I just want to be able to holster draw with my own pistol and drill with my ar15.
I’ve looked into Homestead Training Center, but does anyone have info on them? They have membership options but from what I’ve gathered, that just gives you a reduced price for renting a lane. Any insight from residents would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for inexpensive CCW classes around the Belleview area.

I know I don't need to get a CCW to carry in FL., but I still want to get one. Odd thing is, I've had a CCW permit in NYS for about 40 years now, but I don't have the class certificate from way back then. I spoke with someone at the Marion County Tax Collector's Office, and they said I needed proof of a class in order to obtain a CCW there, so I would need to take one. Doesn't even matter that shot competitively for many years and hold a few NRA Qualification Rankings and even a RSO cert.. Some of the places I find on the internet are looking for upwards of $200 for a 4 hour class. I hate to pay that much for just a formality.
