I was rewatching some of the show and stumbled upon this - the title of the OST that plays when Seulgi finds Jaeyi's gift at the front door, is "I'm Here" 😭 💙💛
I liked it and tried to Shazam it and to my surprise actually found it.
I'm calling it.
I can tell just by their names - Ai and Irene (which is pronounced Aiurin👀), it instantly seems like something is up with the two of them.
Since it's the same universe as Love Beyond Dreams, time travel and even a robot becoming human isn't something entirely far-fetched, is it? When Ai becomes human, she names herself and extends the name Gen gave her into "Irene".
There's also constant mystery around Irene, she even pretends around her coworkers.
She hired Ploy's services (and through that Gen) multiple times before the face commision in ep1 and would often pay before the project was finished (which would help Gen with her mortgage, as it was pointed out).
On her day off she went to the very gallery that's an important place for Ai, as it is where she began to learn more about human emotion and a place where Gen would take her.
and Finally, Gen kept seeing Irene's face in her dreams, so what's up with that? There's got to be something.
To suddenly change Gen ending up with someone else than Ai would be bad writing, since the entire show is about her falling for a robot + the promise she made to Ai in yesterday's ep (ep5).
And based off of Love Beyond Dreams, MeMindY doesn't seem to half-ass their series or go for the typical plot, so the choice of names and everything else probably isn't random. (When I watched LBD, I also called it right from the get-go that >!Lene's father is the one who shoots her!<, so maybe I'm right about his too)
We'll see, time will tell.
also, something I haven't seen mentioned, the actresses for Ai/Irene and Ran (LBD) played a GL side couple in a BL, Sea Love. I first saw them there, so in my eyes they're kinda the OG pairing. They were sweet and there is even some bts footage of them, if anyone would be interested.
