Converting Dragon Delves to DaggerHeart as a First Time GM?
First time GMing, ever, and bought DaggerHeart for my first time ever even playing TTRPG (none of my gaming friends ever have either). Disappointed there was no adventures in the DaggerHeart book, just campaign frames. I'm not imaginative enough to make up a story.
Spent a ton of time scouring the internet for DaggerHeart adventures... not much out there.
Still haven't done my first session. I really wanna make the first session go well (not nervous, I know to keep it chill and fun, I just want good material to work with)
Found the D&D book Dragon Delves. It looks awesome. I bought it, and used an online converter to convert every single monster into DaggerHeart monsters (56 pages), organized by chapter. Took a little while but it's done now.
The stories look great, they give me the guardrails I need, and I'm excited. I want the free-flowing gameplay of DaggerHeart, which is why I'm not switching to D&D. It seems easier for everyone else too.
Is there something I'm overlooking? One thought that crossed my mind is maybe I need a bigger number of bad guys, like if the D&D book says 1 I should used 3 if there are 3 PCs? I don't know, I'll probably just wing it and adjust on the fly.
Anyways, thoughts?
