On a journey to lose ~30kg

I’ve been overweight most of my life. That changed somewhat when I went vegan 6 years ago, but I still wasn’t particularly happy with how I looked. Since then I have gained a lot of weight due to many different reasons: unemployment (so pretty much no movement at all), alcohol abuse, depression. I’ve now been sober 4 months and my weight is stable, though oscillating around 96kg, putting me at the brink of obesity. My main goal is to learn to enjoy movement. I’m making lists of activities I enjoy and I want to make sure I’m doing something every day. For the diet I don’t think it’s going to be very different, just gonna focus on cutting out junk, unnecessary sugar and fat and I’ll try to make meals high in volume and fibre. I’m making this post cause participating in communities helped me get sober, so I hope this will be the same story!
