Picked up the ultimate starter set to get into Warhammer collecting and painting. Decided to go Salamander due to all the flamers on the regular Marines.

Shamefully lacking in heraldry due to the transfer sheet having everything except Salamanders it feels like, and still not confidant to try free handing the pauldrons.

Done in Zenithal with speed paints and acrylic gold.

Any feedback or advice welcome.

(From what I understand the leg supports should match the armor, but i like the idea of them being in the secondary chapter colour)

I recently picked up the Ultimate Starter Set and have nearly finished with the Tyrannids, but I'm having trouble picking a colour for the talons and hooves.

Initially I was thinking a more red leaning orange but am worried it might be too "bright" even with a dark wash.

Could a darker navy blue maybe work?

Any advice or general feedback is welcome.

Picked up the ultimate starter set a few months ago and been using it to try and learn some more advanced techniques.

First attempt at glazing for colour transitions and am pretty happy with the results but any advice is welcome.

Using Army Painter war paint fanatics, started with a Hydra Turquoise basecoat, Aqua Alchemy towards the tips and Crystal blue towards the base to match the main body.
