Hi everyone. I recently applied for a Surgical SHO position and received an email saying I was in the final shortlist, but I had to reply by 6pm that same day confirming I still wanted to be interviewed. It was basically a ~2 hour window from when the email was sent. Seeing as I was busy at the time and didn’t have access to my phone I was unable to reply in the timeframe requested. I have emailed explaining this and still await a response. Is a short timeframe like this normal to accept for interview? Seems bizarre to me.
