Active duo seeking more FFXIV & fighting game players.
We're both in our 30's, I'm EST he's PST, and we game mostly in the evenings.
Picked up FFXIV a few months ago, we're both finished with Endwalker and taking our time to clear older content before getting into Dawntrail. Eventually we do plan on joining or making a static to clear challenge content, but for now it's a chill grind. I'm a DPS main with GNB/SGE being my utility sub-jobs, and he's a tank specialist.
For fighting games I'll play nearly everything, my go-to options being Guilty Gear, Under night, Tekken, and Brawlhalla at the moment. He leans towards the 3D side of the genre and will occasionally get into platform fighters. I'm somewhat of a hardcore, been in the scene for 10+ years, competed in several titles, and love teaching newer players. He's more casual and doesn't much care for the competitive side of things, just in it for the fun of throwing hands and getting better.
The hope here is to find a handful of other players that would be interested in starting a small social group on discord. Nothing serious, just a comfy spot where we can hangout, run content, practice, and improve together while having a good time.
