Hi i'm Emilie, this is the first post I've ever made on reddit but I figured I should give it a shot. I'm 25F, Usa, Cali and I love gaming a lot especially with other people, however I struggle to make friends due to extreme social anxiety and well anxiety over all as well as having AuDHD. Hey there, I recently got a new job so the days I work/go to the gym I'll most likely be available after 8pm EST so hopefully we can find time to talk and play games. I'm a chill and grounded guy. I can be unhinged and like dark humor, but I know when to be mature. I'm the type of guy who likes to check in and get to know someone. I can be quite the yapper as I get to know someone. I can also be a good listener to what ever you need to talk about, so if you want an ear to be lent, I gotchu (Not my left one though, lost a bit of my hearing on it while I was working out).

I like to take my time when it comes to building friendship. I don't like rushing through it, crossing boundaries, make someone uncomfortable, trauma dump out of no where, etc. If something is making either of us uncomfortable, I want us to speak up. Communication goes a long way with me and I don't have mind reading powers lol. I don't mind if you're flirty, I'll be flirty too, match your energy. I don't expect someone to message me right after I message them, we both got lives and priorities. What I want is accountability and attendance. When we say we'll play something, great, let's actually play instead of just flaking and saying nothing. I understand if plans don't work out but it if happens consistently, I'd say we just go our separate ways cause I'm not here to waste time.

I don't expect you to be good when we play games. The only time I'd get mad or annoyed is when someone runs it down on purpose, especially in a competitive game.

- BG3 (I'm trying to start a group for this, I want to start fresh on Balanced or the next difficulty. Going through every nook and cranny/dialogue)

Other than gaming, I wouldn't mind watching anything on VC or just talking in general.

I’ll try not to make this long winded as I typically do but I’m in a interesting transitional period of my life and looking around and realize most of my real life friends and myself has moved on in life getting married having kids and whatnot have made it hard to follow up on interests. I’m looking for laid back open minded people for good discussions and gaming. I have a great PC that I’m determined to make better use of. I love gaming, both solo and with family, and I especially ADORE co‑op games. I’ve played Valheim, Enshrouded, Split Fiction, It Takes Two, and Palworld. I’ve tried Call of Duty and Valorant, but I’m honestly terrible at shooters. I’m much more drawn to cosy games with beautiful visuals, but I would love to try new games like the friendslop kind or anything coop really… I also gave Baldur’s Gate a go, but it was a bit overwhelming on my own but would give it another go with friends!

Right now I’m playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey because I’ve become completely obsessed with Greek mythology after watching The Odyssey, hehe. Oh, and I also have a Switch 2 and I’m a big fan of animal crossing and pokopia!

I’m hoping to make friends I can chat and gossip with about day‑to‑day life. I’m not interested in drama, I have a life and a full time job outside the internet, so there will be times when I’m not online much, and my replies might take a while.
