Just got a PC for the first time today but I just want to get high and play funny games while I get used to the controls (I'm not going to be good at anything for a while). I don't care guy or girl but would prefer someone closer to my age. Lemme know if anyone wants to hop on!

Just moved to a new place for a job and I don't know anyone here yet, and a lot of my friends from elsewhere don't play games. I'm completely new to the PC gaming world and I'm looking for games/communities that are co-op or competitive and have a social aspect. My end goal would be to play with a group/groups consistently but just talking and playing through shit with people is a fun idea to me.
I really like the idea of RTS games, I loved starcraft 2 as a kid, but I'm also down to explore fun games where people just do fun shit together (example: I once saw a reel of a game where 4 dudes were on a raft trying to survive and they were just fucking around and streaming it looked like a blast)
I know what discord is as a concept but I've got no clue if there are groups for people looking to just idk play a game and have some beers and play a fun/funny game and hang?
This is all very vague and my attempt at wording this is awful I don't know anything about gaming culture, hopefully this all made sense as a question!
