Its my first for me to undergo this process, I currently driving my brothers car(Dubai) while I am an Abu Dhabi resident. Now it’s time to transfer the car to my name and planning to retain its Dubai plate.

My brother is already out of the country but he still has active residency and EID. So we try to do it online.

Question is how to and what to do.

tried to research and says that It is possible to do it online using RTA website or app, but i need to open a traffic file in Dubai beforehand(screenshot attached).

is this correct or possible process?
