Labour's CPS appointees are subverting the British legal system in defence of the interests of a foreign company, and more broadly a foreign nation. Don't care whether someone is right or left, this is absolutely sinister
- the judge invented a rule that it'd be a crime to let the jury know *anything* about the roots of the Israeli weapons company during the trial.
- a similar rule was invented that banned the defendants from stating their motivations and what kinds of evidence had resonated with them so strongly to lead to their actions
- reporting restrictions were added so that British media outlets were barred from mentioning these custom trial restrictions until just now
- the jury were barred from knowing that the CPS were pushing for a "terrorist connection" charge which would result in more than a decade in prison guaranteed when the evidence presented only showed criminal damage
Limiting a person's right to defence in such a blatant way is quite obviously compelling the jury by omission, which should result in the case being thrown out. Seeing how far our legal institutions — and government, are going to defend foreign companies (and to diplomatically protect the interests of a foreign nation with a hostile value system) has been quite eye opening.
Don't care if someone is left or right, Brits deserve a fair and unprejudiced legal system. Hopefully Starmer and Yvette Cooper's replacements aren't so compromised!
they explain it better here, around 3:30 mark https://youtu.be/sl9LKnyAVmc?si=P2JvYqgrKI-cA7nt&t=237
