AITJ for making my neighborhood homeless?
So, I (42M) used to be a thief, but I gave up that life when my wife (42F) was pregnant with our child (12M). I've been working as a newspaper columnist since. We recently moved into a nicer home, and my nephew (10M) has been staying with us while his dad is sick. TBH, I've been super bored with my job. Our new house has a few really nice farms nearby, and they definitely don't need all the food they have. Besides that, my nephew is a natural at heists, so he's been helping me steal from the farms. My son was already mad at me for taking my nephew and not him, and my wife had started to suspect what was going on, but things really got tense when the farmers figured out it was me. They shot and injured me, destroyed my home with heavy machinery and even explosives, which also ruined all the other homes in the neighborhood. My family and all our neighbors are now hiding underground, and everyone is mad at me. AITJ?
