I made an interactive map of all Historic/Heritage Streetcar operations in the US and Canada!

Several months ago, I was trying to investigate how many trolley museums there were in the US, but I wasn't able to find a concise comprehensive list. Long story short, I decided to make that list myself, increased the scope beyond just museums to all historic trolley rides, and this map is the result of my research.

This map, as comprehensively as I could possibly make it, lists every single spot in the US and Canada where you can ride a historic trolley/streetcar. You can click on each spot to learn a little more about it.

I also included separate categories for operations which run exclusively replica equipment, as well as cities which retained some of their original trolley infrastructure, but may not necessarily run historic equipment.

I've further separated locations by what type of operation they run (museum, heritage transit, miscellaneous) and by whether they run on overhead wire or with a diesel or battery setup. You can see more details on what gets included on the map, as well as how I determine the categories in the description of the map.

If anyone knows of somewhere I'm missing let me know! There's a good chance I already came across it and have excluded it deliberately, but I'd definitely be eager to learn if there is somewhere I'm missing.
