What’s the episode where Amanda hits Kyle with all her might?
Like many of us I see Amanda in a different light these days. Kyle’s certainly not perfect and has made his fair share of mistakes. But I think it’s safe to say that she has probably despised him for years. Waaay before Pest joined the show and started playing hide the salami with her this past fall.
I just recalled two scenes of Amanda being terrible to Kyle totally unprovoked (if I’m not mistaken). They’re from years ago though so I can’t remember the actual episodes. Maybe someone else does? My memory is a little fuzzy but this is how I think the scenes played out.
Summer House Late one night Kyle was sitting alone downstairs just chilling with a bag of potato chips (if I’m not wrong). Amanda suddenly comes down the stairs looking absolutely furious. She marches over to Kyle and without saying a word punches him as hard as she possible can with a closed fist! Kyle looked very stunned and sad. He said “ow, that really hurt…” as Amanda simply walked back upstairs, still not uttering a single word.
Winter House Amanda and Kyle were talking in bed one night while the others were partying. She started picking buggers out of her nose and wiped them away on Kyle’s skin while she snickered. He looked deflated but didn’t say anything about it. I’m pretty sure this was season 2.
Does anyone else remembers these two scenes? I wanna rewatch them in their context to see if they were as bad as I remember.
In hindsight it really surprises me how Ratula got away with having terrible moments like these sprinkled throughout the show over the years. She only ever got called out for how she mistreated Jules. I guess she had many of us fooled into thinking her bad moments were just anomalies. We now know that’s not the case. That girl clearly has a real mean streak that runs deeper than one would’ve dare to guess.
