I'm watching season 5 I think it was either episode 11 or 12 and everyone was mad that Des didn't make as much as an effort as Danielle's boyfriend Robert to integrate into the friendship group but Danielle and Robert broke up and Hannah and Des got married.

If we could put our personal thoughts about Hannah aside for a second and forget about the bathroom hookup. I want to say that they didn't like Des because they didn't like Hannah. They saw that someone was all for Hannah and didn't care for them in the way they wanted.

For Amanda it was just another reason to have to have a go at Hannah.

And Danielle with the 'Ooh well my Robert made the effort', like okay I acknowledge that it was nice but who cares. You'd swear that Des straight up blanked everyone.

I'm not a big Hannah defender but it was just a stupid thing to try and fight with her about. There is nothing wrong with a man spending personal time with their long distance/covid lockdown girlfriend and now they've been married for what 5 years now.

Hannah and Des are not completely innocent but the whole thing was just so dramatised.

So I’m at season 6 where Mya was bringing up feeling like it was hard for her to fit in being a black person in the Hamptons and at the house and clearly Andrea not remembering her name was the last straw. But am I the only one that thinks that she wasn’t really fitting in because she’s an introvert, would be going to sleep when everyone is going out and be in the room a lot of the times and not really trying to make closer relationships ? I don’t think it had anything to do with anything else. She was always to herself and not interacting a lot which is why she couldn’t make closer bonds. Yes Andrea for sure should’ve remembered her name but otherwise even from what she has expressed about not liking anything about herself she just seems to be insecure and that’s why she thought it was because she looks different why she couldn’t fit it and her passed experiences at school she expressed but that wasn’t the case here from what I observed. Anyone agree ?
