I love how so many memes and memespeak jokes are references to other memes. Without the shared tribal knowledge of the history and humor of the original memes, it's completely meaningless.
In Start Trek: The Next Generation, there's a fan favorite episode (Darmok) about overcoming a language barrier with a species that communicates only by referencing cultural stories.
Anyway, memes are like that. Seems cool to me because I'm high.
EDIT: SO it's tomorrow and I'm not high. My son and I were taking the dog for his lunchtime pee and the dog tried to chase birds. My son looked at him and just casually said, "Birbs aren't real."
