Roommate Situation
Hello everyone! I’m in a bit of a dilemma about my future roommate for this fall.
We connected through Instagram earlier this year, and at first everything seemed great. We’ve been talking regularly about our lives, and she seemed really excited about being roommates (she also has a dog, which I’m completely fine with). Recently, I’ve been trying to text her about officially finalizing our roommate situation before the May 30th deadline, and I keep getting left on seen. What’s confusing me is that she’s still active on Instagram, so I know she’s online. I don’t want to come across as pushy or rude, but communication is important to me, especially with something this important. I’m starting to wonder if I should message her and let her know I’m considering other roommate options (if she doesn’t respond) because I don’t want to wait until the last minute and end up with a random roommate. I do still want to room with her cause she seems nice and we have similar interests.
