ive been deleting the background of drawings/ photos for years and never had a problem, but just recently the feature stopped working for me, for example for the photo attached i tried deleting the background but it still leaves the background white! it wont make it transparent

is it unique? or too basic? i also would love some advice/recommendations if anyone has any!!

I love the lighting, it lasted only a minute so i had to take these fast
