I just recently moved to Portland for school, last night I set my MacBook Dow on a flat surface and in the morning went to use it and this happened I’m freaking out I don’t know where to get it fixed at a reasonable price I have stuff I need to work on now and I am extremely broke. Is there any places that can finance the repair? I made an appointment with apple pioneer place but I’m worried they’ll overcharge me I would have gone somewhere more private/local but I need this ASAP.

Any recommendations or suggestions are much appreciated!

I got a new phone and had mostly forgotten about it as I thought marking it as lost was enough and was delusionally hoping that I might get the device back someday. Anyways, I received these texts today,.

Spoke to Apple and they said that the guy is just trying to scare you into making the device easily eraseable so that they can re-sell it, but I'm worried. Should I be concerned?

Ok so guys, I was opening my MacBook Air from 2017 (a1466 model) which has pentalobe screws. I also ordered a screwdriver kit for opening the screws, but out of the 10 screws, only 8 open up and the middle 2 refuse to rotate along the screwdriver.

The reason I'm opening the back of the laptop is to fix the trackpads tactile click, as my laptop was not letting me get that tactile trackpad feedback on clicking and I was unable to drag and drop stuff, I had been using the 3 fingers thing, also I wanted to tighten the hinge so today I wanted to fix those issue.

I've tried all possible screwdriver alternatives, also tried the rubberband method, but the middle 2 screws just refuse to go along with the screwdriver.

Please help me on what the solution could be for this issue.

P.S. Please don't ask me to go to a professional they charge loads for this kinda stuff 💀

I’ve been using the same internet provider for years and have had my iPhone 17 for over a year as well. Woke up to this message, I tapped use other network and am still connected to private relay and connected to the internet but thought this was weird. I’m not even too sure what private relay is or does, is this normal or a bug?

Guys finally happened to me.. My phone just died a few pixels (approx 3) today, i never dropped or damage it 🥲 No i dont hv apple care + but still within warranty till next year Feb. And i search alot in web and reddit says apple warranty covers it which able to fix or replace it. But i couldn't find any reference to that. Is it true that apple warranty covers it?

For context, my phone died this morning eventhough i went to bed with more than 50%. As a result my alarm did not ring and i woke up late for work. Utterly disappointed.

Alright, so i’m having an issue

Prior to this, the Ipad was working fine. Then I updated it, and, well… here we are.

I’ve tried almost everything i’ve come across on google:

Fixing the date and time

location services

resetting network settings

making sure I don’t have a VPN

force resetting it.

configuring the IP

I doubt the internet is the problem here as all my other devices are connected to it perfectly fine.

just let me know, am I cooked? will I have to do a full reset?? 🤦

I bought wired earphones with a lightning connector in January and they’ve stopped transmitting sound. The wires near the connector have become visible, since it appears that the rubber has moved down. I have already contacted apple customer care and scheduled an appointment at the service centre. I just wanted to know if anyone has had a similar experience and how it turned out. Thank you

I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro that I bought around 1.5 years ago for about ₹80,000. A few days ago, the display broke.

Now I have a few options:

1. Apple Authorized Service Center: original display replacement costs around ₹36,000

2. Local shops: “original” display costs around ₹20,000–25,000, but I’m not sure if it’s 100% genuine

3. Duplicate display: costs around ₹5,000–10,000, and they also remove the display warning/error from the iPhone

If I sell the phone with the broken display, I’ll get a maximum of around ₹25,000.

Now I’m confused about what I should do:

1. Replace the display or buy a new phone?

2. If I replace the display, should I go with the original display or a duplicate one?

Note- consider myself as iphone wala garib so please don’t suggest to buy new iphone 17 pro model or something like this 😭🙏

I recently signed up to be a beta tester for an app that will go unnamed.

When the dev sent me the code for the first month free, I came across this screen ⬆️ saying that I need to input my card data to redeem the code.

This issue is, I do not possess a credit or debit card. I only carry cash.

Does this mean I can’t be a beta tester?

I noticed on this carry case for my MacBook Pro 14 that some of the weight when using this stand is on the hinge area. It’s definitely hitting the back of the display. I know this is an Apple recommended product so it can’t be too bad? Also when extending the display back you feel it hitting against the display frame. Thoughts?
