Something I don’t understand about the ending
When you go back to the sealing to change the outcome, Valentin attempts to kill all revenants the moment past Lou fails to seal the resurgence. In the original timeline, why did Valentin instead seal himself and the heroes, leaving Lavinia to wipe revenants out later? The difference is you being there, but I can’t see that making him decide to wipe everyone out immediately instead of attempting the seal himself. Or did he in fact try killing everyone resulting in the heroes defeating him and sealing everyone ?
Also what was zenon’s original idea that could end the resurgence for good? He’s clearly against revenant genocide, but when the time came his only plan was using Lou as a seal and he still miscalculated that. He made it sound as though he had an idea to get rid of the resurgence entirely, not just seal it again. That makes his idea the same as Lavinia’s at the time, so she had no reason to forcibly seal him and consider him a heretic. In the end he ended up magically solving everything, freeing the mc and Lou, diffusing the seal or smth tho the resurgence is still inside Lou. What?
And who’s to say Lou can be a perfect seal!? Idris himself failed, she’s an inheritor of but a fraction of his power not even from his bloodline but some artificial creation constructed of some random academy students.
And how is the mc alive without a heart? We gave it back to Lou, shouldn’t we have just dropped dead?
