Bug Involving Moved Files or Deleted Backups
Hi,
First of all, I want to say that I’m well aware of all the work the Drime team has been doing lately, and I’m extremely satisfied with all the improvements that have been made.
However, I recently posted about my issue on Discord (in French Lounge) regarding a bug with the storage space shown on my account, which is much higher than it actually is.
I've only seen one other post about this issue, so I guess not many of us are experiencing it.
Maybe it's a server issue?
Today, while installing the iOS update, I realized that my “Memories” weren’t displaying only photos from the folder I’d selected as my media location.
So I cleared my cache, uninstalled the app, restarted the iPhone, reinstalled the app, and realized that the problem was more serious than that, which confirms the issue raised on Discord:
My “Memories” are cluttered with photos that I’ve since moved to another workspace, as well as images, logos, etc., from old syncs and backups that I’ve since deleted...
So, a few suggestions:
- Please address this issue with ghost files and folders that continue to take up storage space
- The “Memories” feature should ONLY take into account the folder selected by the user as the storage location for media files
- The same goes for the audio player: it should be possible to select a folder as the default playback location so that the player doesn't include all audio files on the account (ringtones, voice recordings, and others) in the music playlist.
