Good news - we ended up signing with a final sale price of $51,900 ($53,700 OTD)! For comparison, the sticker price was $$56,525 so roughly an 8% discount.

Running engine swapped Mazda 3 and lucked out with no rain of any kind on this attempt. Probably my favorite car to drive haha
I’ve been window shopping a bit on a Hybrid Limited AWD and just received an offer, but not sure how low we can get with this. MSRP $56,500, dealer threw in a couple discounts for trade in and financing, and looking at a final price without tax/fees/trade-in of $54,000. No options included.
Can we reasonably go lower? If so, where should we start?
I am currently away on vacation and saw a recent post about a car coming to the UCD that I’ve been on the lookout for, so I figured I’d jump on the PS remote play app on my iPhone to make a quick purchase. I’ve never really used the app to seriously play any game remote, but I saw the perfect opportunity to try it out on the weekly race at Laguna Seca (Sunday Cup Classic).
Oh jeez…just….never again.
I knew it would be difficult to play GT7 on a touch screen, but damn… I used a Tomahawk VGT because why not. I didn’t think it was possible to have a 2:00+ min lap at Laguna Seca in a Tomahawk while seriously trying to drive around the track. I proved myself wrong.
Please, for the love of god, do not try to play GT7 using the PS5’s remote touchscreen controller. You’d have more success playing Dark Souls on a banana.
Thankfully, I did get 1st place so that’s nice, I guess.
