It’s worse when it’s on a unique model rather than a chaff unit too

My second Flash Git
He’s definitely the best Ork I’ve ever painted (although I am still sub-20 on that count).

Getting my monthly Combat Patrol magazine delivery like
Mostly kidding - I know the Ork stuff starts somewhere around issue 40-45 and I’m currently on issue … 16 I think it is.
I’ve got more Space Marines and ‘Nids to go to complete those Combat Patrols first.
But still. I’m itching for my hard-to-get Boys already.

I've been building and painting since the end(ish) of 2024 and my wife has been supportive of my having a hobby but generally disinterested in partaking herself because it's not particularly her thing.
Early today though I showed my wife an advert for a painting day at a nearby games shop and she said "do you have enough models for me to paint too?" and I paused and was very carefully like "Depends on whether you want to do Orks or Space Marines or Tyranids..." and she went "Orks, obviously. I have no interest in marines and I don't want to paint horrible monsters" and in my head i'm like
