Journals and pens
I want to start journaling and I’m looking for a good journal and a good pen to use. I want to make this like a treat to myself and get things that are good quality, but I don’t want to get more expensive supplies until this turns into more of a habit and I fill at least two full journals.
I’m really looking for good pen recs. Something that writes smooth, but doesn’t bleed through. I love the Pilot Precise V5 pen (I almost exclusively used this pen for writing and note taking) and the Sharpie Rollerball because of how they write, but they both bleed just a bit too much.
I think finding a journal will be easier for me because I can go by paperweight, but journal recs are also welcome. Please don’t recommend moleskine. I find their journals expensive and awkward to write in and the paper isn’t all that great for the price.
I did try to see if there was a master list of recommended brands or specific items, but couldn’t find any.
Edit: I guess I should mention that I would prefer to write on both sides of the pages in case that influences any recommendations.
