Kripke says this is why Marie isn't part of the solution.
According to Kripke, Marie can't kill Homelander because she can't wield her powers in a controlled way. So apparently, Marie literally reviving the dead is her *not* having control over her powers.
Gotta love the new lows Kripke has reached for his excuses.
