Delete if not allowed TW ectopic pregnancy

I posted this in the UK sub but thought here would maybe give some answers as well :)

6 weeks ago i had an ectopic pregnancy, my fallopian tube ruptured and I bled internally. I had emergency surgery and they removed my fallopian tube and the pregnancy. At our follow up 5 weeks later after the surgery, i was told after 2 periods it’s safe to try again. Im due my second period in 9 days since surgery.
Has anyone had a successful pregnancy after an ectopic? The nurse told me it’s likely to happen again.
I also would like to ask if it takes longer trying for a baby? We have a 1 year old and I got pregnant within 2 months of trying, will this take longer, after an ectopic? I got pregnant with the ectopic pregnancy, 1 month into trying for a second.
Im not yet ready to try again after the trauma and hoping to be in a better place financially, I just would like to know if this is the end of having children for us :)
