About Sietze de Vries: what and how?

So I went to another one of his concerts last tuesday (in Nijkerk, NL), and I stay astonished at this guy. Like: there's music and there's music. He definitely falls in the last category. Wdym I only have 12 measures of Bach's fantasia in C-dur, so I'll improvise the rest on the spot, plus a fugue? Wdym he's gonna improvise a full on concierto on the spot without any preparation? If music is a language this guy is definitely a native polyglot.

Anyways, if he ever plays somewhere close to you and you especially like baroque music(though he can play all styles and genres) it's worth every penny three times.

Thank you! My Lego Parthenon Marbles project has hit 1,000 votes after a week on Lego Ideas

Last week I posted my new Lego Ideas project here, The Parthenon Marbles: The Festival of Athena. It's a set which recreates the famous marble frieze from the Parthenon and brings its carved figures to life in a colourful street scene from Classical Athens. I was really grateful to see what a positive response the set received here, with lots of kind and thoughtful feedback.

Today, I'm happy to report that the project has hit 1,000 votes over on Lego Ideas! This means that it gets another six months added on to the time it has to reach 10,000 votes. It's a long haul to get to 10k (maybe in this context I should say it's a Marathon?), and I appreciate any help in spreading the word about the project to like-minded enthusiasts of ancient history. Thank you again, and I hope you enjoy the set!
