We are looking into maybe closing off this front room for when we have kids so it can be a play room or an extra guest room. It’s the first room you see when you walk into our house. We have thought about some sort of temporary glass extendable wall so the space can be open if we want at some times, or closed to allow for privacy. But we may be leaning towards a wall with French doors to still get some natural light since there are big windows there. We do have a closet that we would want to keep, so we are thinking the wall would start where the oval mirror is and extend out. Our thermostat is in there, but we have a Google nest so we would install some sensors in our main living room/kitchen. There’s already a register vent in there as well.

We are open to other ideas though! Thank you!
