Haworthia nortieri var. globosiflora, Soutpan, SE Nieuwoudtville
Got this plant a couple weeks ago - really looking forward to it fully settling in and showing some new growth. While nortieri in general seem to be a bit underrated, these plants from the Soutpan locality are exceptionally beautiful in my opinion.
From time to time I just get lost in looking at these tiny plants and their beautiful windows that seem to lead you into another marvelous world. I could sit and stare for hours.
That's what makes this hobby so special to me.

Backlit shot of my H. semiviva (DMC04353, 1 km W of Biesiespoort, S of Victoria West).
A habitat staging with two Haworthia springbokvlakensis seedlings I made 2 years ago. They grew quite well despite me mostly neglecting them.
It looks a bit too clean for my liking now after I had to remove layers of house dust - maybe I'll add some clay dust for a more natural look.
Picture 5 is from two years ago, shortly after planting.

Love the pronounced veinings on this one!
Second photo is from 4 years ago, when I got this plant from STC.
New HaworthiaLand plants all potted up! Caught the recent offer quite early and there was so much to chose from... I went a bit overboard, but got a few species I've been looking for for quite some time!
Now crossing fingers they all settle in nicely.

After chopping my BMF, the first leaf of the top cut came out completely black and rotted... But from the ashes she gifted me with this firey new work of art. I just love this plant!
Spring offer seems to be up! No post yet, but plenty of new plants are available :)
