I am on my first dose of ivermectin and will take another tablet in 7 days, I heard that tea tree oil kills mites, any recommendations on how to use tea tree oil while I do my treatment ?

So I have been treating scabies for a few weeks now and I already done my permethrin treatment which failed, my skin has been left in such a state! It’s so dry and sensitive and it breaks so easily and hurts so much. So I basically BEGGED the doctor today to give me Ivermectin. But she only gave me 1 3MG tablet of it. But that doesn’t make sense to me why would she only give me 1? I already felt like I had to fight for the one tablet and now I’m stressed because obviously eggs are not effected by Ivermectin so if some have been laid and I take the treatment and those new eggs hatch then it would of been for nothing! I just feel so hopeless and exhausted and I don’t know if receiving 1 tablet is even going to work! Can someone explain to me if this is normal or not ? I’m from the UK btw
