I generally don’t dress my historicals in modern clothes, but I couldn’t resist trying the perfectly plaid outfit on Claudie after seeing it on u/Full-Indication-94 ‘s Claudie in this thread last week!

Since poor Claudie doesn’t have a fall story/school outfit, I felt less apprehensive about expanding her wardrobe.

I am living vicariously through my GoT 18.2 Kengela’s first of many fall looks. I want Evette’s meet boots in my size!

Samantha is my OG and I’m so satisfied with how her bow turned out.

And lastly, Bitty Baby (who has since been passed down to my daughter) recently got the autumn outfit that I always wanted for her!

I am so obsessed with the picnic outfit! I also love how Claudie and Samantha’s outfits complement each other so nicely with the blue and white polka dots and straw hats. 🥹

Just changed my childhood Sam into her bathing costume for the summer and she’s so precious. 🥹 Swipe to see my extreme excitement upon receiving this set as a gift on Christmas morning 1997! 😂

Decided to crochet Maryellen’s blanket since I thought it would be more authentic to the time period than her official AG blanket. I’m so happy with how it turned out!

All of my historical dolls have May birthdays which I thought was a weird coincidence until I remembered that the birthday book in the original six book series was the “spring story”. That doesn’t explain Claudie or Maryellen’s birthdays, though. Why does AG love a spring birthday so much? 🤔

Samantha is my OG doll from 1996 and her birthday outfit remains one of my all time favorites. (In fact, it’s what she was wearing when I pulled her out of storage last year!) The rose circlet is just *chef’s kiss*.

My childhood #18.2 (Kengela) is loving her new hiking gear! This wasn’t a PC outfit that I particularly coveted as a kid, but I am OBSESSED with the amazingly 90s shirt that comes with it so I started shopping around for just the top. After seeing a few dolls on this sub rocking the complete outfit, and being inspired by the 90s adventure babe customs of Drs. Jo Harding and Ellie Statler, I was inspired to buy the whole thing. So glad I did. Kengi is ready for an adventure!

Claudie wanted to share some treats from Angelo’s Bakery* to celebrate her birthday today!

(Can we please discuss what an actual CRIME it is that this sweet girl doesn’t have an official birthday outfit?)

*These treats and the tray are actually from Maryellen’s Seaside Diner. I went down a rabbit hole yesterday trying to determine if it would be historically accurate for 1920s Harlem bakery to be selling cinnamon rolls and it seems like…probably not. But now I have a whole head canon about Claudie’s father discovering cinnamon rolls while stationed in Europe during World War One and introducing them to Harlem. 😂

My toddler was playing with her Bitty Baby while I was getting my Claudie freshened up for her birthday later this week. I noticed they were unintentionally twinning and had to snap a pic!
