My childhood #18.2 (Kengela) is loving her new hiking gear! This wasn’t a PC outfit that I particularly coveted as a kid, but I am OBSESSED with the amazingly 90s shirt that comes with it so I started shopping around for just the top. After seeing a few dolls on this sub rocking the complete outfit, and being inspired by the 90s adventure babe customs of Drs. Jo Harding and Ellie Statler, I was inspired to buy the whole thing. So glad I did. Kengi is ready for an adventure!

Claudie wanted to share some treats from Angelo’s Bakery* to celebrate her birthday today!

*These treats and the tray are actually from Maryellen’s Seaside Diner. I went down a rabbit hole yesterday trying to determine if it would be historically accurate for 1920s Harlem bakery to be selling cinnamon rolls and it seems like…probably not. But now I have a whole head canon about Claudie’s father discovering cinnamon rolls while stationed in Europe during World War One and introducing them to Harlem. 😂

My toddler was playing with her Bitty Baby while I was getting my Claudie freshened up for her birthday later this week. I noticed they were unintentionally twinning and had to snap a pic!
