My daughter, age 9, has been into “Girls” since just before turning three. (At first we only gave her Our Generation girls.) Her interest has waxed and waned over the years, but this weekend she started taking their portraits for a book that will include their names and interests. (AG girls seem to keep a lot of their backstories, OG girls are blank slates.)
I got some fun ILY fashion packs on clearance for $5-$7! I haven’t tried these before but thought for that price why not? I’m going to Disney World soon so this is perfect! The shoes fit too. Target also has OG surprise backpacks on clearance for $5! I’m happy I got two different ones lol
It’s very frustrating that people overprice things so much when selling. I’d like to be fair instead and I had a rare doll I wanted to sell. The outfit sells for $75 on it’s own on Ebay. The only doll that was on Ebay in said outfit was I think way overpriced at $350. I paid $150 not too long ago. I listed it on marketplace for $100, because I don’t like her as much as I thought I would and I just don’t want her anymore. This lady knew how rare the doll is and was so excited to get her, then at the last minute wanted to pay only $70. When I said no she still wanted to get it for $100. I can’t say for sure, but it felt like she thought I didn’t know what it was and that she could get me to sell it for even less. It just felt really crumby. I’m going to hold onto it and give it to someone deserving. My point is when you find a good deal, don’t low ball the seller. I’m totally turned off to selling now. I just needed to vent. As an Addy collector, I had come to terms with the fact that I’d probably never actually own her Cape Island Dress (or I’d have to buy a replica), BUT today I found it at the thrift store for $62!!!! I think the SKORT is really cute and can be paired with different mix and match outfits and LOVE the deep side pocket. I like how the top plays homage to Molly and Camp Gowonagin with the #44 and has a cute smiley face sun patch. Overall may look more complete with shoes/socks and jacket like in the illustration.

When you need tights, socks, etc. to complete official AG outfits, where do you go? I’m scared of random brands bleeding — so which brands do you trust?
